3000 miles for Ukraine

For the past few weeks, I’ve been giving little hints here and there about this wonderful photo shoot I was privileged to put together and style.  Finally, the details and the photos are here!
Let me introduce you to my good friend and classmate, Russell York.  On May 16, in just thirteen days, Russell will be crossing America.  On his bicycle.  To raise money for children at a Ukrainian orphanage.  Over the past few months, Russell has been researching, biking, running, researching some more, blogging, gaining support, biking, etc., all while being a full time student.
Please check out Russell’s website, 3000 Miles for Ukraine, and consider giving to this worthy cause.
All these photos were taken by the wonderful and talented Rebekah J. Murray, styled by yours truly, with the assistance of none other than my bestie, Susanna.
Last but not least, this post would be incomplete without two HUGE thank-yous.  Michael at Re-Love-It, a local consignment shop, generously allowed us to use his Roadmaster Luxury Liner Bicycle, which was made as the 50th year commemorative of the iconic cruiser of the Cleveland Welding Company (see photos below).  And thanks to Sue at Purcellville’s Blue Ridge Hospice Thrift Store, who gave a us a great deal on the chair below!

All photos by Rebekah J. Murray for A Daily Something.

I had such a blast with Rebekah, Russell and Susanna.  What an awesome team!

Please consider giving to 3000 Miles for Ukraine.
