How was your weekend?
My weekends and weekdays are quite similar these days, since I am still without a job… This weekend was especially exciting though. I thrifted at two Unique Thrift Stores (they have 30 locations – find one near you) and got some GREAT finds. I also went to an antique shop with my sister, and she bought a couch (we’re going to the upholsterer’s today to look at fabric). Looking for a grey linen, possibly like this Azure Sofa from Crate&Barrel or this Julienne Banquette from Jayson Home and Garden.
This weekend I started devouring Matchbook Magazine’s Issue No. 5. So much pretty content, like the images above. I love the typewriter, the summery colors, and the books!
I’m also loving Martha Stewart Living’s June 2011 Issue. Definitely one of my favorite issues. I think print media is stepping it up a notch to compete with all the online media.
I have a lot to work on this week…including making/finding props for my sister’s high school graduation reception photobooth and a photoshoot of my friend Wendy’s home! Do you have any grand plans?
till tomorrow,
Rebecca
