photobooth!

Here are some of the pictures from the recent photobooth I put together for my little sister’s (below, on the left) graduation reception.

All photos by Rebecca Beach for A Daily Something.

I had never manned a photobooth before and boy, is it tiring!  I put several hours into making and compiling the props, about two hours into setting it up (hanging sheets is hard work, even with help!), and about two hours into taking pictures.  The reception was in a basement cafeteria, with fluorescent lights, so lighting was a bit of a problem, but I worked with what I had.

I’m pretty pleased with the overall outcome of the pictures!  Thanks to Jordan Ferney for her DIY and free printable photobooth props (I also made some of my own).

Have you ever put together a photobooth?  Have secrets on how to make is successful?

I am excited about investing in my own, quality camera (and photoshop!).  Hopefully soon!

till tomorrow,

Rebecca

P.S. The “nerd” is my brother-in-law; it’s one of my favorites!

Wow, fantastic effort put in – lucky sister, I was thinking about doing this for my wedding. I used to have photoshop 10 years ago but now I use gimp which is free to download online if you want to give it a try. I'm no expert these days but it seems good to me.

  2. Fun!! It turned out good and it looks like everyone had a blast!
