prop styling: my introduction

Sorry I’m posting later in the day everyone.  I just woke up!  I had an incredibly busy weekend (it was so great to see my boyfriend!) and drove home in the middle of the night last night (while my sister slept in the backseat).  My secret to staying awake on the road: play the alphabet game and eat.  Lots.  🙂

Here are some of the pictures from my first attempt at prop styling…

All photos taken by Rebecca Beach for A Daily Something.

These pictures were all taken at my friend Wendy’s house when we had the photo shoot a few weeks ago.  Admittedly, these aren’t perfect.  But we had so much fun, and I definitely learned a lot.

How was your weekend?  Have a busy week ahead?  I do…our family reunion is on Sunday which means I have a ton of projects.  I also applied for two jobs last week, and have some follow up to do (do you think I’d be a better nanny or office manager?)….  🙂

till tomorrow,

Rebecca

prop styling seems like such a fun job 🙂 these photos look fabulous!

I think they come out great Rebecca! I like the red spoon picture too.
Again, keep up the wonderful work.

  5. Christina says:

These look great, Rebecca! I love the lighting in the driftwood picture. I think you'd be great at either job, but you'd probably have more fun as a nanny, plus you'd get to use your incredible disciplinarian skills 😉

  6. Amy says:

I love the coffee pic – I would love to try styling, I suppose nothing is stopping me!

  7. Nicole says:

My favorite was the first one. Your style is so whimsical! Who would have thought to put those chairs back to back like that? There's something intriguing about the placement, and the apple.
