drooling for these

Ever have a stroopwafel?  If not, you’re missing out big time.

Stroopwafels taste like butter, maple syrup, and caramel mixed together in a perfectly crunchy//soft (weird, I know) combination.  Seriously, I think they’re the perfect dessert (or snack, breakfast, etc).

Joe brought these back from his recent trip to Amsterdam, and I have been sneaking a stroopwafel every chance I can get.

Needing more stroopwafels,

Rebecca

Jealous. I have had them, they are amazing, and now I am seriously craving one! yum! xoxo

  2. OMG. you weren't kidding. now i'm drooling over them lol

  3. Amanda Y says:

Yes, they are awesome! My cousin was in Amsterdam recently, so she brought me a bag. However, I've one got one left!

  4. Wow. I'm so craving them even though I've never had one. I've heard you put them over your coffee or tea cup to keep it warm & then it also melts the maple/butter-ness inside. That sound so perfect right now!

  5. Mmmm…delish! Pretty sure I read somewhere recently that they place them atop tea so the centers melt. Magnificent! Oops, I see that Connie already noted that 🙂

  6. That looks delish. Did you make those? Share your recipe! (we are a waffle/pancake crazy family)

  7. they look so yummy! and tasty!

  8. drooling down my face over here – YUM!!

  10. I'm so addicted to these!!! I lived in Amsterdam for 3,5 years and these were my favorite (and OH SO DANGEROUS!) treat 😉 xxx mervi
