hi for five seconds

So I didn’t want to leave you without a blog post this morning…but be warned: this post will be short (and lacking in substance) and I am tired!  It’s 4:14 in the morning as I write this, and I just got home from being in West Virginia.  I literally crammed a summer of French into Saturday + Sunday (I went to WV because I realized I wouldn’t get my French done without my boyfriend’s help.  He was amazing) and I am exhausted.  But the good news is I now have 12 credits of French under my belt!

Thanks to everyone who wished me good luck in finishing my French!  To answer your questions, 12 credits of a foreign language were part of my degree requirements at college (and here’s a secret, I didn’t receive my diploma in May – I needed to finish this class!).  Now it’s official: I’m a college grad!  Also, I chose Metropolitan Community College in NE because they were cheap (and my college didn’t offer French).  By the end of this class, my professor was telling me I had good pronunciation & I just needed to work at flowing…apparently my sentences are a bit choppy.

Anyway, that’s my French story.

Hope this little one’s smile is contagious today!  Isn’t he precious?  I get to see him every single day.  I am so blessed!

till tomorrow,

Rebecca
