this is where you’ll find me

…today and most of the weekend.  Cozied up inside, staying safe from the rain and flooding, with my computer and a notebook.
Photography and styling by Rebecca Beach for A Daily Something.

This weekend, I’ll be working on a trial (and paid) assignment for a possible new job, setting up 2,977 American flags for an annual 9/11 memorial, nailing down details for next Friday’s event, and trying to sort out my life.  Sounds exciting, eh?!

Anyone want to make life easier and hire me full time to plan parties and special events?

By the way, isn’t this image so inviting?  I styled this photo yesterday at my friend Wendy’s house.  Since Wendy’s June feature on A Daily Something, she’s added so many fascinating details to her living room, like the poppy velvet chair and the hand dyed pillow covers.  Mmmm, I could stare at this little reading nook for hours.

Hoping you all have a blessed weekend,

Rebecca

  9. I want to snuggle up in there for sure! I love that blanket! I'm working on knitting a throw blanket for our winter linens and it's kind of similar to that (although not nearly as detailed). I wish I could hire you, hahah, but good luck! Have a great weekend!

  10. Fantastic job on the styling!!! I want that little nook in my home! Do you have any desire to move to Seattle? I am in the {slow} process of working on my dream of event design 🙂 it is a little tough with a full-time job, but I will get there! I would hire you in a split second! xoxoxo brynn
