Still looking for the perfect, chic Thanksgiving dinner table centerpiece? Try this stunning idea, using a thrifted wine cooler and feather grass, picked off the side of the road.
You can’t get much thriftier than using nature (one of my favorite elements in decorating and entertaining).
I had been driving past and admiring this feather grass for a few weeks, and finally decided to cut some down and put it to good use.
To make your own, simply find some interesting-looking grass (or weeds) on the side of the road and a beautiful container of your choice, fill halfway with gravel or sand, and anchor stems into the gravel.
I chose to use my thrifted silver wine cooler, which cost only $2.99 at Unique. I just love the quirky, whimsical elegance of this simple centerpiece.
Would you use this for your Thanksgiving table? You’ll certainly impress your guests with almost no effort.
Hoping you have a blessed week!
Rebecca
