thrifty entertaining | cozy and plaid

Snowy Sunday afternoons are best spent at a friend’s, sipping tea and enjoying the cozy surroundings.  And to me, it’s especially enjoyable when you are using thrifted treasures.

This plaid fabric was rescued from Unique thrift store, along with this glass tea pot, wooden serving tray and the yellow tea cup.  I almost screamed when I found this clear glass tea pot – isn’t it gorgeous?

And in these pictures, we are drinking Charleston Breakfast Premium Black Tea from America’s Only Tea Plantation, Charleston Tea Plantation.  Mmm mmm good.

Hope you find time to enjoy winter’s simple pleasures, like drinking tea with friends on plaid tableclothes.

till tomorrow,
Rebecca

I love these photos!! I'm a huge fan of replacing every day items with more beautiful versions! That way I don't feel guilty about having clutter, 'cause it's all stuff that I'm using regularly anyway 🙂

Love the glass teapot! And I went to that plantation 2-3 summers ago. It was absolutely beautiful there and such a perfect day for a tour of the plantation. And their tea is really good!
