thrifted style / 02

Thrifted style: back by popular demand.  I asked last week if you wanted me to continue with sharing thrifted fashion finds, and you said yes!  So today I’m sharing three of my favorite pairs of shoes.

1. Thom McAn woven leather flats for $2.  I can’t find these anywhere online, but I think they’re vintage.  It was so warm, I wore these flats yesterday with cuffed skinny jeans, an olive green shirt, and a light grey cardigan.  With a Anthropologie necklace similar to this one.  Can’t wait to style these shoes in other outfits!

2. Slouchy leather boots for $3.  With a small wooden heel.  Perfect paired with a fun dress or skirt this Spring!

3. Frye wedges.  One of my best thrift store purchases ever.  They were $15.  What a steal!  I wear these pretty much every season…with tights, socks, and bare feet.

Do you have any favorite shoes you’ve found in thrifting adventures?  I’ve love to hear!

till tomorrow,
Rebecca

  1. Svenja says:

i like them all rebecca, but the first ones are the most pretty :))
i found some really nice ballerinas that only cost 10 euro, and they are my favorite ones :))

  2. Kyla says:

Wow, those Frye wedges are AMAZING! I can't believe they were only $15! Unfortunately I haven't been thrifting in a while, but I really want to go soon!

  3. Thrifting is the BEST! Great finds.

  4. Amy Lazenby says:

I LOVE a bargain! Rebecca, you won the jackpot with the Frye wedges. They are beautiful.

  5. Wow- I need to take you shopping with me! I never find anything at thrift stores. I blame it on the quality of our stores 😉

  6. Cossette says:

I wish the thrift stores down by me believed that shoes should sometimes cost only $2! Those are really great finds.

    • Rebecca says:

Are you still in NOVA? I purchased the Frye wedges at the Purcellville thrift shop, believe it or not! You just gotta make yourself a regular at the place 😉

  7. rebekah j. says:

    i need your thrift stores.

  8. 17 Perth says:

I cannot believe you found those Frye wedges! Too cute! Great find.

  9. Lo says:

you always have the most amazing finds! I love these posts 🙂

  10. Naomi says:

You guuuuyyyys!! Where do all you bloggers find such amazing thrifting treasures?? I need to move to your town, Rebecca. It's happening.

  11. I love how you have photographed these, R!

  12. Nicole says:

love these! my favorite thrift shop finds are pretty tops – usually it's hard to find footwear in such mint condition! on another note, i noticed that yesterday i could read you blog a lot better! did you change the font for one day? or was it just my computer? i liked it 🙂

  13. rebecca says:

I love the way you photographed these too.

  14. I agree with Rebecca! These photos are awesome. 🙂 I love finding furniture to refinish. We have a big, round, bistro-style dining table that I refinished 4 years ago, and we still use it and love it. $6 sure beats a usual $200-$500 price tag!

  15. Awesome finds…especially those Frye wedges!! I saw above in a reply to a comment that you got them at Blue Ridge Hospice. I've heard great things about place and gotta get my booty over there!

  16. K says:

Oh my word, those wedges are so DELIGHTFUL. What a find, indeed!
    xo.

  17. Betsy says:

Check it out! I read this on the day you published. Looking at those Frye wedges I was feeling a little sad that I never found anything as cool. Later that afternoon I hit up the Goodwill. What did I find? The most incredible Frye heeled sandals ever – for $7. I couldn't believe it – they are similar to yours! How cool is that!?

  18. Susan Chuang says:

Ladies, what kind of shoes do you like most? Some like high heels, some like flats, some like trainers, for me, I like discount wedge sneakers.
