diy | painted plates

This past weekend, my sweet cousin Jessica helped me organize my crafts and props.  I was gazing at my neatly organized supplies this morning, and thought up this incredibly simple & fun DIY.  Brighten up some clear glass plates (mine are from a thrift shop…plates like these are always at thrift shops, and usually selling for around 25 cents each) with some neon oil-based paint.

Supplies
– oil based neon paint
– paint brush
– clear glass plates

Instructions
Make sure your plate is nice and clean.  Flip the plate over, and go crazy painting the flowers with the neon paint.  Since you’re painting on the backside, you don’t have to use food-safe paint!

I can’t wait to use these beauties on a Spring picnic!

Have a lovely Monday,
Rebecca

P.S. I’m going to *try* and post every day this week, but it might be sporadic!  I’m working on a HUGE project for Friday (you’ll find out about it this fall)…so we’ll see how I am at posting AND prepping for Friday.
