christmas in july at pink olive!

Last Thursday I had the honor of participating in Pink Olive’s Christmas in July party! The celebration was held at Pink Olive’s shop in Park Slope, and it was a blast! I got to meet some longtime blogger buddies, and made new friends!

Some of the lovely ladies I was able to finally meet in person Jenna, Gloria, Lauren, Audrey, Tracy, Grace, and Eli!

Here are some pretty photos of the party, snapped by Samantha Goh of reve du jour.

The party was one big group of inspiring women. Erin Ozer from Knot & Bow shared several wrapping ideas. That pretty string of colorful confetti wrapped around a box is one of her brilliant creations. Then, Molly from glitter+RYE shared her gifting ideas, which included that stunning stenciled gold & coral napkin. I even got to share some of my gift wrapping ideas and thoughts on gift presentation. And Eli (the shop’s manager!) demonstrated how to make those adorable felt flowers. I need to make some, asap! These ladies are just loads of fun in real life!!

Dawn from One Girl Cookies sent over an endless supply of whoopie pies (the best whoopie pies I’ve EVER HAD, I might add…you should try them out). Izze was the official drink sponsor (what’s your favorite flavor? mine’s CLEMENTINE!) And Kelly from 2h flowers arranged the prettiest combinations of flowers (I got to be the model and hold that stunning arrangement in the photo above).

I had to resist the urge to buy everything in Pink Olive; it’s just perfectly curated. Some of my favorite products: Rifle Paper Co. notebooks, Creative, Inc., fabric giftwrap, washi tape, Knot & Bow luggage tags in every color imaginable & metallic twine, and some adorable stuffed animals. I was in heaven for 3 full hours and can’t wait to go back (and visit their East Village location).

Thanks so much for inviting me to participate in the festivities, Grace; I had a wonderful time! Can’t wait to see you all again 🙂
