Hello lovely friends!
Lots going on over here....so sorry for my absence over the past few months.
First up, I have some news to share...I'm engaged, and getting married December 15!!!! :) I am so incredibly excited to be marrying my best friend and the love of my life in less than 6 weeks :)
We were left relatively unscathed in Sandy's aftermath...but we still have no power or heat! We've been living off our wood stove (thank God for the Chemex and hot oatmeal!) and finally got a replacement generator on Saturday. Weirdly enough, our internet started working...so here I am blogging :)
And I'm moving to Northern Virginia in December! So I've been pretty much consumed over here with planning, packing, and all that fun craziness.
I promise to share wedding plans and such over the next 6 weeks, and to get back into blogging as soon as I possibly can. I miss you all TONS!

ReplyDeletealso, your ring is STUNNING. funny story..about a month ago, i found an old ring thrifting. it reminds me of yours so much! gold band with that shape filled with sparkly jewels (fake ones in my case)! it's my favorite ring and i always think 'i'd love to have an engagement ring just like this!' :)
