happy weekend!

Happy Friday! This photo is one of my favorite outtakes from April’s floral post with Sweet Root Village. We actually worked on this shoot in my studio apartment, which was simply a blast. It’s fun to see my home through their lens. Wish I was served breakfast in bed on a tray overflowing with kumquats everyday.

Today I’m packing and getting ready for my trip to NYC + NJ! I’ll be up there for over a week, and when I return, I’ll be well into my 36th week of pregnancy. How outrageous is that? This little girl will be joining us very soon (and I washed most of her clothes yesterday, so I’m ready…hehe). We just need a car seat.

I’ll be spending lots of precious time with my family this week, and hopefully spending a day creating and making things with my friend Wendy! And next Saturday is Pepperologie, where I’ll be teaching about Creative Entertaining! AWESOME news about Pepperologie, by the way. Because of an incredibly generous sponsor, ticket prices were lowered to $50. So, if cost was an issue previously, consider joining us on Saturday, May 11. It’s going to be a wonderful time. Maybe even bring mom, and make it a fantastic Mother’s Day gift?!

What are you up to this weekend? Maybe some breakfast in bed? Whatever it might be, I hope it’s blessed!

Gosh, this is all so lovely. Your apartment is so whimsical and cozy at the same time.

I love that you're all set and ready for your little girl. Clothes washed and waiting, like she's about to get off a plane 🙂 How exciting!

I *so* wish that I could come to Pepperologie, it sounds amazing. Just another reason I wish I already lived in NYC.
