It’s officially fall and I’ve officially been busy! Sorry for abandoning you all for a few weeks… Despite the slowness here, life’s been happening at full speed.
Zoe’s 3 1/2 months already, and my heart is just bursting with love for our precious girl. She grabs at her feet, giggles when we dance with her, loves to read animal books with her mommy, knows her bottle (and tries to feed herself), and has outgrown her Moses basket! She’s no longer a newborn, and it’s heartbreaking….life needs to slooooow down.
What else has been happening over here?…We put an offer on a house and our closing is scheduled a week from tomorrow. It’s a very cozy farmhouse, built in 1920, and completely updated. I can’t believe this is actually happening (and that we’ll have more than 450 square feet…and a studio + storage space)! I am looking forward to making this first house a home, and sharing bits and pieces along the way.
Besides being a mom and buying a house, I’ve been busy with styling work, building my portfolio, meeting creatives in the area, weddings on the weekends, and other fun work-related things! I am so thankful for work that I love and allows me to basically be a stay-at-home-mom (and for a husband who very willingly sacrifices his weekends).
Oh, I also bought a camera (but I haven’t had any time to play around with it yet). Can’t wait to share non-iPhone images!!!
I am still trying to learn how to be a blogger, a mom, and work…so thank you for bearing with me. I really hope to be blogging more consistently (maybe even daily, since this is A Daily Something, after all) soon!
