Some snapshots from our life the past few weeks.

1 // The top of our pie safe with a bowl of antlers, a charcoal skull drawing by my cousin, and some vintage glasses. I am constantly moving things around and displaying new found treasures. Surfaces change about every week around here.

2 // When I was home in NJ last week, my sister’s boyfriend proposed! So of
course, we put together a small engagement party to help them celebrate.
We made these tissue paper tassel garlands (they took hours to assemble!) and hung them throughout my mom’s home. The brick fireplace in the family room was my favorite backdrop.

3 // Our dining room…complete with a collection of auction chairs, Joe’s uncle’s coat rack, a drop cloth table cloth, my favorite taupe taper candles, and a plate full of limes. Simplicity usually wins in my book.

4 // My sister and cousin visited this weekend. It’s always a blessing to
have guests, and I love waking up early and making breakfast and setting
a simple table top. Neutrals and citrus seem to be my theme this
winter (maybe always?).
