Woohoo! Happy Monday! In case you’re new to the blog, or haven’t stopped by in a few weeks…we’re in the middle of celebrating our 5th BIRTHDAY! To make the festivities extra merry, we’ve partnered with FIVE of our favorite brands for 5 weeks of birthday giveaways! We’re back today with the 4th of our once-a-week-for-5-weeks birthday giveaways! This has been such a fun time of celebrating with you; thanks so much for all your support!

Today, we’re giving away $300 to spend at one of my all-time favorite clothing companies: Not Perfect Linen. I discovered Not Perfect Linen about a year ago when a friend from MN posted a photo wearing one of Simona’s linen dresses. I had to track down the maker because they didn’t even have an instagram then! I ordered a dress pronto, and proceeded to “favorite” just about everything in the shop! I basically want/need everything in every color.

Not Perfect Linen is a family-owned company: Simona, her husband, Vidas, and her mother, Rita, and they’re based in Lithuania. I love everything about what they do. Their products are practically [if not] perfect. Their ethos is wonderful: The beauty of linen is that it is not perfect. If you keep trying to iron it, you will definitely miss the beauty of it. Linen needs to be used and it gets better with age. Linen pieces can be compared to old English leather shoes or old mechanical Swiss watches – all of these things are not new or perfect but are definitely more valuable than any new. We are glad to share with something irregular and something that it is not perfect.

I’m wearing a few of my favorite Not Perfect Linen pieces above: the washed linen kimono tunic in ice blue/silver; the V-neck linen dress in natural; and the white linen pants.

It’s simple to enter the giveaway; you can enter below, and we’ll be notifying the winner by email on Sunday, July 3. In the meantime, make sure you poke around the new site, check out the new A Daily Gathering page (we still have a few tickets left for our fall 2016 A Daily Gathering retreat!!!), my new portfolio, and allll the fun little improvements to the site, designed by Jen Olmstead at Tonic Site Shop!

Hi, I love what you do. Your photos and ethos are authentic, beautiful and inspiring. I have recently fallen in love with linen as I have been styling and photographing my cooking creations as a pre-empty to changing direction and starting a business involving my passion for food. I can see so many things I would love to buy on Not So Perfect Linen.

I bought a dress from them based on a previous recommendation from you. Thank you for the great tip–I love their linen clothes too–so perfect naturally.
