We were just in Dallas for 5 days, to celebrate the marriage of one of my best friends! We had a wonderful time catching up with friends from college and being a part of the wedding festivities! I made sure to carve out a little time to explore Dallas, and I’ve fallen in LOVE! We stayed at the Belmont Hotel Dallas, and had such a phenomenal time. From the moment I rounded the corner and saw the Belmont sitting up on the hill, I was in awe. The Art Moderne design, the lines, rounded corners, the white stucco, the winding paths, perfectly manicured gardens, and succulents upon succulents. I really wanted to stuff one or ten into my checked luggage. And the view of the Dallas skyline is stunning.

I had such a wonderful time exploring the Belmont Dallas Hotel. I woke up early in the morning and photographed a few of my favorite nooks and corners. Joe and I headed to the pool and enjoyed a slow morning in the midst of our busy schedule. We had evening drinks on the gorgeous BarBelmont terrace, overlooking Dallas among twinkle lights and good company. I need to figure out where to find those iron swings that are hanging in the BarBelmont terrace, and hang one on our front porch!

Our room was incredibly cozy, as was the hotel lobby and lounge. I love their attention to design and textures! Now I’m on the hunt for the perfect blush colored armchair for my studio. You know you’re comfortable when you have no desire to leave your hotel! Thanks so much to the Belmont Hotel Dallas for providing this wonderful time; can’t wait to visit again!
