Since we’re two weeks into September and Autumn is rapidly approaching, I’m trying to take advantage of all the opportunities to be outside, soaking up summer and enjoying the gorgeous weather while we have it. This past week, the girls and I visited our local pick your own flower farm and spent a few hours picking and arranging the end of summer blooms. This is my favorite time of year for flowers farms: the gardens are wildly overgrown and colorful, with a vast array of blooms from which to choose. The girls always love tagging along to this farm, because they’re able to find their favorites and help me gather them.

The transitional weather in September is just perfect for fun new wardrobe experiments! Finally, the weather is no longer 90+ degrees, and we can layer and pair together pieces that have been hiding in the back of our closets. And we can wear sneakers and socks! I am so, so thrilled to have these new Superga platform sneakers! I love how they elevate a simple look (haha, pun intended). And they’re platform sneakers (in case you missed that)! I cannot wait to pair them with a pair of cropped wide legs! And the girls’ matching hightop sneakers are just so precious! I dress them in matching (or at least coordinating) outfits most days, and it’s been so fun! And these new sneakers have zippers for extremely easy entry (especially for Naomi’s chubby little baby feet)!

I ordered our new sneakers from Zappos.com and experienced the most friendly customer service when I accidentally ordered the wrong color (and they gave me complimentary one-day shipping; can’t beat that)! And I just love their 365 day return policy!
