About

She lives in an early 1900s farmhouse tucked away in the small town of Purcellville, Virginia, with her husband Joe, their four young children: Zoe, Naomi, Jojo, and Aletheia. Rebecca and Joe homeschool their children, and together they are all busy making their house a home, learning together, and filling their home with heaps of lovely memories. Rebecca is a lover of neutral everything, slow coffee, gardening, old books, and making much of life’s simple pleasures. Rebecca and her family love bringing friends and family together for food, conversation, and intentional living, and hope to continue to do so in their farmhouse for many years!

Rebecca is a lover of neutral everything, slow coffee, gardening,
old books, and making much of life’s simple pleasures.

Rebecca Gallop is a Northern Virginia-based Mom, Blogger, and Live Slow advocate. Rebecca studied political science in college and started A Daily Something as a creative outlet. It organically grew into what it is today: an online destination to inspire slow, intentional living. Rebecca is most thankful to be able to work from home & do what she loves! Rebecca has worked with Kinfolk Magazine, West Elm, Anthropologie, Refinery 29, and other incredible brands, and her work has been featured in Country Home Magazine, Apartment Therapy, Martha Stewart Living, Camille Styles, the Free People blog, Design for Mankind, Design Love Fest, and A Cup of Jo.

A Daily Something is a lifestyle destination where Rebecca shares about the simple daily somethings that make life beautiful. Topics include: recipes, life with littles, home décor & DIY projects, entertaining, gatherings, and personal style. Launched in 2011 as a personal creative outlet while studying political science in college A Daily Something has grown to be an online community for those interested in beautifying and simplifying all areas of life.

A Daily Something has also grown into a platform for brand collaborations, styling, and content creation for clients like Anthropologie, West Elm, Land of Nod, Artifact Uprising, Madewell, FEED, Le Pain Quotidien, Aveeno, and more!
