style | casual frills for new years eve

So, you sick of animated gifs yet?  I’m not 😉

I love love love this pretty little skirt.  It makes me feel like Tinker Bell.

This is a good outfit for a casual New Years Eve.  Do you know that I almost always stay home with my family and sometimes a few friends?  We play lots of games, eat way too much food (my personal fave: shrimp wrapped in bacon), watch movies, and I barely make it to midnight.  I’m a home body and I like my sleep, what can I say?  ðŸ˜‰

Here are my outfit details:
Sweater: J Crew
Skirt: Arden B (probably 7 years old!)
Boots: Target (Frye look-a-likes)

What are you doing for New Years Eve?  Hope you’re safe, and have fun!!

I’ve so enjoyed these first 10 months of blogging.  Thanks for the friendships, the meaningful comments, the awesome blogs I’m privileged to read every single day, all of YOUR ideas and inspirations, and most of all, for simply finding A Daily Something and sticking around.  I can only imagine what’s in store for the next 10 months!

till next year,
Rebecca

P.S. Thanks to everyone who took my survey.  Reading your answers has really been a joy!  If you haven’t taken it yet, you still have a chance.  I’d love to hear what you want to see more (or less) of on A Daily Something as we head into 2012.

  1. This year we're doing dinner by ourselves, then a pre-bar party at a friend's house, then walking (staggering?) to a bar to ring in the new year – a little of everything!

I, too, can't wait to see what the next 10 months bring! Happy New Year!

  2. well aren't you a cutie! i love the boots! 🙂

  3. Nicole says:

  4. Such a pretty skirt, swoon!
