fresh juice

When I walked downstairs this morning, I saw a bowl of ruby red grapefruits.  I decided to make some freshly squeezed juice, and wow.  It was delicious.

I paired it with some coffee and Ezekiel toast with peanut butter (not pictured because I ate it too fast).  The perfect, light breakfast or snack.

I had been looking at thrift stores for a french press for several months.  Then, one day, there it was sitting on a shelf right in front of my eyes, for only $1.

Happy Tuesday, friends!

till tomorrow,
Rebecca

P.S. Happy birthday to my sweet dad, who would have been 51 today!  Love and miss you, dad!

beautiful photos! i have a large, electric juicer. but this has inspired me to hunt for a glass citrus juicer – i'd use it more and it is easier to wash!

I love fresh squeezed grapefruit juice! I grew up in Scottsdale, AZ and my grandpa used to pick grapefruits from his tree for breakfast each day. Grapefruit will always bring a sense of nostalgia.
