A West Elm + Vintage Garden Party

Here are a few outtakes from my second summer tabletop table for West Elm: a vintage garden party. I had a blast mixing and matching some of my favorite vintage pieces with the West Elm products: organic shaped dinner plates, glazed terracotta salad plates, and gold flatware. My favorite element: the doilies layered over the terracotta plates, which served as a charger for the tea cup and saucer. A subtle way of softening the bold tile print while allowing the color and pattern to peek through!

Head on over to the West Elm blog to see the whole look!

Thanks to Lisa Chiu for the beautiful photos, and Meredith Kope from The Goodstone Inn for the stunning floral arrangements! I couldn’t have done this without you both!

P.S. Pregnancy update: still pregnant! Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes! Taking castor oil and homeopathic tinctures this morning. Hoping and praying we have a baby girl to snuggle…today!

You did such a wonderful job that I'm kinda aching to sit at that table and have a beautiful summer meal there right now 🙂 It reminds me of those movies like Gosford Park, etc. where the rich aristocratic Brits move outside to eat but it's all still so elegant. (Yes, I'm a little bit hungry right now, haha). Sending well wishes that today's you're day re: baby!

  2. COME ON BABY!! Let's go let's go! 😀
