Gathering with Friends for a Cause

A few weeks ago, friends gathered together in a cozy backyard, to share supper together and learn about and support their friends’ passion for overseas adoption. Many willing hands participated, making the evening intimate and welcoming for everyone. Enjoy these lovely images, captured by Lauren at Sweet Root Village.

This sweet gathering was hosted (and styled) by Veronica Rogers of Fleurish Events. She’s great friends with Josh and Ali Deckard, and she wanted to throw them a party to celebrate with them as they prepare to bring their baby boy, Chase, home from Uganda. Veronica wanted to create an atmosphere to bring people together to eat, talk, and fellowship…and what a lovely party she threw! Veronica worked with Tali Kauflin, who made the meal to serve all 30 guests, and Rebecca Collegio, who worked
tirelessly on the group gift presented to the Deckards, a quilt made
from dishtowels.
You can read more about Josh and Ali’s story at www.adoptchase.com. Ali and Josh are currently in Uganda to bring home their little one! Thanks so much for sharing this lovely event, Veronica!
