Happy Friday! So excited to be sharing these stunning images from THRIVE Creatives Retreat! I co-hosted this retreat with Lauren & Rachel and Alyssa last month at the gorgeous Retreat at Cool Spring in Bluemont, VA. The retreat was designed for creatives (in any field, at any stage in their creative path), to inspire, revive, refresh, and encourage! We gathered for 2 full days and 3 nights for workshops, shared meals, cozy fireside chats, lots of down time (and ended up staying for another full day, because we were hit by the 2016 blizzard, and we were completely snowed in).

Our workshops included an awesome business workshop taught by Lauren of Sweet Root Village and Char of Char Co. They literally spoke on almost every aspect of business, and it was so helpful and informative! They’re both such dynamic, business-savvy women! Alyssa and I taught a styling/social media and photography workshop. Although we were snowed in and she was stranded at her home in DC, Laura Hooper skyped in and taught us a calligraphy workshop! We had breakout sessions and tons of time for planning and chatting, and some fun down chick-flick watching and chunky scarf arm-knitting, and all the things. Each student and instructor brought such different perspectives to the workshops & conversations, it was wonderful. I left the retreat so incredibly inspired, and hope our students did, too!
