Happy Friday, friends!

What are your plans for the weekend? On the agenda for mine: blackberry picking with the family (at Crooked Run Orchard…we went last year and it was wonderful), deep cleaning the house before my mom arrives on Tuesday (ack, someone send help!), shooting one recipe on Saturday, buying a suitcase for next week’s trip to Dallas (any recommendations?), and relaxing LOTS. Oh, and gardening a bit, deep cleaning our minivan, and last minute shopping for said Dallas trip. You know, the usual slow weekend. haha.

These photos are from last month’s visit to Foxfire Mountain House, the home of my November A Daily Gathering retreat. In case you’re new around here, or just haven’t seen it on Instagram, I’m hosting my third annual retreat, An Intentional Autumn, this November and would love to see you there!

We’ll be taking over the magical Foxfire Mountain House in the heart of the Catskills (yay for taking #adailygathering on the road) for a few days! We’ll be diving into styling and photography workshops, baking, autumn flower arranging, weaving, and SO MUCH MORE! We’ll rest our heads on linen bedding, cozy up in front of roaring fires, eat hearty family style meals, have wonderful conversation, make lifelong friends, and just be together.

My goal for this all-inclusive, 4-day and 4-night retreat is that you would take some time to slow down and learn more about the art of intentional living, and how to share this art with a larger audience through beautiful styling and photography! Anyone is welcome, at any level in their creative journey.

I’m working with a stellar group of folks; guest instructors include William and Susan Brinson (check out their WORK), Anna Watson Carl (Anna will also be preparing our suppers), Lauren and Rachel @ Sweet Root Village, Joy @ Mornings Like These, and Erin @ The Catskill Kiwi. Jewel Peach will be leading us in [optional] morning yoga, and my friends Hannah and Talia Olmstead will be preparing our breakfasts and lunches!

I discovered Foxfire Mountain House through Instagram and instantly fell in love with it. Then I visited a few months ago, and realized that, somehow, it’s 100000x better IRL… I’m so incredibly lucky to be working with Eliza and Tim, and cannot wait for you all to be wowed by this gorgeously restored inn!
