I've had my instax mini for about a month now, and I can't stop taking photos (too bad the pictures are $1.00 each). Here are some of my faves.
Joe and me, pausing during our hike last weekend.
Sophia Colette, my sweet niece. I wish I had instant photos of when I was a wee babe.
Random, fun shots. Taped flowers on my wall. A man in my hotel room (!). Pretty fall blooms in the backyard.
And my favorite instax photo to date: the elevator door at the Ernest Alexander studio.
Do you have an instant camera? Do you write on them (date/location/etc)? What are some of your favorites?
Have a blessed weekend!

Well, we used to call them Polaroid Cameras. I have not heard of this Instax before. And yes, the paper was always expensive. On the other hand, you get the photos right away, which is nice. Great pics! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely! I don't have one yet :( But I'm saving up for one and I hope to create a wall full of them.
ReplyDeleteI have three or four polaroid cameras that I've never used. I even have film for some of them. I think that maybe I should change this "never done it" thing. haha
ReplyDeletelove this post! i've been dying to get up some of my instax onto the blog! LOVE LOVE LOVE yours! so inspiring! xoxo!
ReplyDeleteI am dying to buy one of these: http://www.landcameras.com. They also have a store here in Seattle called Rare Medium that sells film. Someday one of them will be mine! Your pics are amazing. Someone brought a polaroid (a pink Spice Cam!) to my baby shower and took photos on which people wrote messages for the baby and I. I have them in a photo book and absolutely love them.
ReplyDeleteThese are so lovely! The elevator door is my favourite of the lot too (though I do really like them all). It's a shame it's so expensive to have them done up! They have such a great texture/atmosphere to them as a collection.
