So how do you like my 28-week baby bump? It’s difficult to fathom that I am already in my third trimester, yet somehow, it seems like I still have forever to go. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find shirts that work with the growing belly, which is why I love this non-maternity top from Choix. When Choix reached out to me about partnering, I knew I would have to pick out an item that’d work both during and after pregnancy. I won’t be pregnant forever, right!?
This graphic peek-a-boo tunic perfectly fit the bill. My favorite part about the shirt is that it works for Spring, Summer, Fall, and can be paired with even more layers for Winter. Kinda all-purpose. And there’s something about high-low (shirts and skirts and dresses) that make me feel ethereal. Which is why we chose to shoot this post in some bushes. Nothing says ethereal like the woods and a flowing tunic. 😉

One of my goals for this first pregnancy is to stay away from maternity clothes as much as possible. This look? 100% non-maternity! I wouldn’t have been able to pull it off without the maxi skirt; all my pants these days are maternity; I think all my weight gain has occurred in my butt, thighs, and tummy – a problem if you’re trying to stay in your pre-pregnancy pants. Thanks to Choix for helping me achieve my goal of wearing stylish, non-maternity pieces with this fun, patterned top! I can’t wait to keep wearing it come June…beach, here we come!

Choix has generously offered one A Daily Something reader the chance to win their own GRAPHIC PEEK-A-BOOK TUNIC!

I have that skirt in grey! It's working perfectly still for me too! I want to stay out of maternity clothes mostly too, but my Mom suggested that I buy tshirts and a few tops whenever I find them on sale. She said the last couple months they will be my savior. She said if I try to fit into normal clothes that last month, it will just make me feel gigantic, but if I have shirts that are made for that stage of my body, then it will be much more comforting for me.

I love this tunic! It's perfect!

  2. Andrea says:

I love Choix's "Curiosity Strikes" dress – the print is lovely! I'd style it with brown strappy sandals with a chunky heel and a long gold chain necklace. And a purse from J.Crew that I've been drooling over…

Your bump is perfectly adorable! I hope you are feeling well. I know your little one can't wait to meet you!

But I would totally style this little number: http://www.ourchoix.com/lively-dress/ with brown sandals, a simple necklace, and gold bangle bracelets. I am prepping for our big Europe trip, so I totally have travel on my mind… I think it'd be perfect/cute/comfy for walking and exploring!
