DIY | A Placecard + Takeaway for Your Guests

The Trade & Made Challenge
was both fun and well, very challenging! When I DIY, I usually think of
the end result, figure out how to make it, and then gather my supplies. I
rarely stare at a box full of random supplies and think of a project. I
was overwhelmed by the possibilities (I was definitely overthinking the
project) and in the end, decided to keep it simple! My final product: a
modern placecard and takeaway for your guests to take home. Can’t WAIT
to see what the other 12 bloggers came up with!

Supplies I used: glass bottle, kraft hanging tag, tangerine acrylic
paint, paint brush, and string from the bag o’ gems. I also used
scissors (not in the box) to cut the string!

The steps are simple: paint your guests’ names on the kraft tags. I love the tangerine
paired with the brown kraft paper. Then, tie a piece string and the tag
around the top of the glass bottle. Fill with whatever you’d like to
give your guests – popcorn, almonds, a succulent, herb-infused honey, a
freshly cut flower, etc.

Thanks so much for Erin and Laura for inviting me to take part in this challenge. Also, thanks to Gloria who designed the Trade & Made site!
