This week is an exciting one around here! The launch of the new A Daily Something, a giveaway with Tonic Site Shop, and now: we’re announcing our third annual creative retreat, our fall 2016 A Daily Gathering Retreat, AN INTENTIONAL AUTUMN! I’ve been working on planning out the details for this retreat for several months now, and I’m so, so excited for our team, the perfect location, and the overall theme for this year!

We’ll be the exclusive guests at Foxfire Mountain House in Mt. Tremper, New York from Thursday, November 10 – Monday, November 14, 2016. At Foxfire Mountain House, a beautifully restored inn nestled in the heart of the Catskills, we’ll be greeted by roaring fires, pure linen bedding, perfectly curated eclectic vintage decor, natural wonders and collections, and lots of fresh mountain air. We’ll spend our days with morning yoga, interactive artisan workshops, family style meals, beautiful tablescapes, cozy fireside downtime, and lots of conversation! The talented husband-wife team, William and Susan Brinson of House of Brinson, will be joining us for an entire day of teaching styling and photography. Anna Watson Carl of The Yellow Table will be preparing our dinners, and teaching a workshop. Joy Bythrow of Mornings Like These will be filming our retreat, and Lauren & Rachel of Sweet Root Village will be photographing and teaching a workshop!

My goal for this retreat is that folks would take some time to slow down and learn about the art of intentional living, and how to share this art with a larger audience through beautiful styling and photography. And as always, the relationships that are formed are truly wonderful and last a lifetime! The tentative schedule includes workshops on food styling & photography, baking, cheese-making, weaving, floral arranging. We will devote plenty of time to group discussions, personal reflection, and goal setting. We want our students to learn & explore the topics they are most interested in, and will be offering one-on-one times where you can learn more about social media, styling, using a camera, intentional living…whatever it is you are most interested in! We want to provide for you needs and desires while providing a beautiful and beneficial experience for your creative journey.
