Welcome to the New A Daily Something + TONIC Giveaway

TONIC X ADS

Welcome to the NEW A DAILY SOMETHING + AND 5 YEAR BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! I am so very excited to share this long-time-coming relaunch with you! I started A Daily Something nearly 5 ½ years ago in my college dorm room as a creative outlet while studying political science. Over the past 5 years, I’ve haphazardly navigated the world of web design, and couldn’t be more excited to be sharing this next step for A Daily Something with you: a professionally designed brand (with gorgeous custom illustrations by my cousin) and website!! I’ve been working (ok, I’ll be honest, Jen’s done all the work, and I’ve said yes YES YES to pretty much everything she’s suggested) with Jen of Tonic Site Shop on this beauty; I hope you enjoy! (We invited one of my dearest friends Joy to document one of our branding meetings; how gorgeous are these photos and Jen’s home?)

To celebrate 5 years and to THANK YOU FOR FOLLOWING ALONG THIS JOURNEY, over the next 5 weeks, I’ll be hosting 5 giveaways with a selection of products from some of my favorite brands! Each giveaway will last nearly one week, and there will be one winner for each giveaway (announced on Sunday). Scroll to the bottom of today’s post for details for this week’s giveaway (hint, hint: you could have a website that looks this good)!

Life has changed quite a bit for me (personally & professionally) over the last 5 years, and I’ve learned SO MUCH about blogging and running a creative business. But this little blog has remained a constant, and it’s incredibly rewarding for me to see how it’s grown and improved over the years, culminating in this perfect new design! Jen’s work is flawless, and her desire to help creatives (of all kinds) refine and express their brands well is unmatched! In fact, you need to check out the design brainchild of Jen Olmstead & Jeff Shipley: Tonic Site Shop. Through TONIC, Jen and Jeff invented the cure to BORING TEMPLATE WEBSITE SYNDROM. They’ve designed entirely unique, completely customizable websites for creatives. They release cocktail-inspired site designs (brilliant) that are hosted on the SHOWIT platform. Tonic really is the answer for anyone looking for a complete, beautiful web experience that’s tailored SPECIFICALLY to their audience! What I love MOST about TONIC is that any creative can use their designs; they work for photographers, bloggers, shop owners, stylists, designers, etc.

Here are a few samples of my favorite Tonic designs (Lillet Blanc, Hemingway, and Vodka Soda):

Just gorgeous. Congratulations. Look forward to exploring it fully.
