It’s Monday!

It’s two days past my due date and still no baby girl to cuddle this
rainy Monday morning. Rather than get caught up in the fact that she’s
not here yet, I’m trying to look at the bright side and be thankful for
the time I have with Joe and friends and family before our lives change
so drastically. We’re ready for her and cannot wait to meet our precious
gift, and we’re willing to wait a few extra days while she gets nice and
chubby.

We spent the weekend out in West Virginia with Joe’s
family, just relaxing, eating good food and not doing much. Here are a few simple pictures from my iPhone (edited with vsco cam)…

1 // Green leftovers from last weekend’s photo shoot.
2 // An unused stall at The Plains Farmers Market with a piece of furniture I wanted to take home.
3 // A view of the tabletop at Crest Hill Antiques and Tea Room from Sunday’s lunch.

What did you do this weekend? Is there anything you’re trying to patiently wait for?

  1. I'm waiting patiently for fabric to arrive! Yours is a little bit more monumental than mine. 🙂 So excited for you! Thanks for sharing these precious pictures!

I know the feeling! Edi was a few days late, and those days past the due date are agonizing!

I'm trying to wait patiently through the next steps of a career venture. Nothing worse than when the timing is completely out of your hands! (Oh wait. You know that.)

  6. Hilary says:

Oh my goodness, I can only imagine your anticipation! I'm waiting for something pretty big too (although not quite so life changing)… my new blog, Our Style Stories!! I've been working on the launch for the past 6 months and will finally be ready to unveil the fruits of my labors on July 1st.

For those interested, I've been sharing sneak peeks on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/OurStyleStories

It couldn't come soon enough!! Very best to you, your hubby, and little one on the way. I hope everything goes smoothly and joyfully!

  7. I hope today is your day-such an exciting time for you and your man 🙂
